Nicole Degagne has a distinctive range of experience and expertise in business administration and holistic education, and is a strong advocate for lifelong learning both in, and out of the classroom. While advancing her career as a business woman and educational administrator, Nicole embarked on a vocational calling in holistic health and healing. She is a Yoga instructor in both Kundalini and Hatha yoga, Reflexologist, Seniors Fitness Instructor, Yogic Numerologist, Healer and Therapist, and has facilitated workshops in chronic pain management. In each of these roles, Nicole provides support and guidance to students, and mentors trainees and practitioners in developing their personal practice and professional businesses.
Nicole has a Master of Education in Adult Education and Community Development with a collaboration Certificate from the Institute for Life Course and Aging, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Law and Sociology. She also has a Provincial Instructor Diploma. To hone her business skills, Nicole has completed programs in Advanced Leadership, Global Leadership from The Chair Academy, and Policy Development from Cornell University.
Nicole currently works at Vancouver Community College as the Policy and Curriculum Coordinator, and teaches courses in office administration. She is a member of the Association of College and University Policy Administrators, volunteers at a hospice, and is currently studying to become a Certified Aromatherapist (yes, at Essence of Thyme College of Holistic Studies!)
