Case Study Team Leader
Angie Kennedy, CAAP
Angie Kennedy, CAAP, originally from White Rock BC, has settled on the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia with her husband and three children. She is passionate about growing and raising her own food and living a healthy, active lifestyle in a rural community. Her hobby farm is in the middle of a 100-acre forest, where she grows and utilizes an abundance of organic herbs, plants, and trees. Angie owns and manages a small aromatherapy business which focuses on companion therapies with a specialization in anxiety, depression, and Lyme disease symptom support.
She first became interested in essential oils as a way to self-soothe after the passing of her mother in January 2000. Almost two decades later, with the help and guidance of her stepmother, a certified aromatherapist, she enrolled in the EOT Certification Program. Angie is dedicated to educating others about the safe and effective use of essential oils and has publicly presented on this topic at numerous community events.
Angie graduated with distinction from the Advanced Aromatherapy Practitioner Program at Essence of Thyme College of Holistic Studies in 2019. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Simon Fraser University (2001) and completed an Inclusive Education Practicum at Hebbville Academy (2019). She is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Counselling Psychology.
As EOT's Case Study Team Leader, Angie’s combined skills of aromatherapy knowledge and supporting students make her a valuable resource for our students.
