Yes, the course includes content around understanding the characteristics of plants, creating a materia medica and hands-on medicine-making sessions for the kitchen apothecary. A detailed list of required materials will be provided, and the focus is on using accessible items.

The course is structured into 3 modules: Energetic Herbalism, Materia Medica and Forms of Herbal Medicine. The course is self-paced, with a well-organized curriculum covering foundational principles and advanced topics. students can tailor their learning experience to fit their schedule, and estimated weekly time commitment is provided.  An assessment is also required following the completion of each module. Once started, students will have up to 1.5 years to complete the course and have access to the materials.

Upon successfully obtaining your certification, you are eligible to receive 50 CECs. These credits are recognized and granted by prominent professional aromatherapy associations, including the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA), the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), and the Canadian Alliance of Aromatherapy (CAOA). This accreditation highlights our course's commitment to providing education that not only enriches your knowledge and skills but also contributes to your professional development within the aromatherapy and animal aromatherapy communities. Further CEC recognition is pending for the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA).
